“The first objective of the 2010-2016 report is to bring to a close my tenure as rector, in full compliance with the principles of accountability, responsibility, participation and transparency which characterised the political strategy and administrative activities over this period. However, we have chosen not to draw up an exhaustive document listing all the achievements. Were that not the case, we would have had to compile a hefty volume, with long lists that would have been difficult to read and probably of little use. The second objective of this report is to offer an easier, shorter document in order to underline the main tendencies and results which we think are more relevant in considering the work done. It is a report which intends to answer, at least in part, the following questions: What were the principles and the values that inspired us? What have we done of a more original nature? What has changed and how? What were the most important outcomes in the main areas we worked on?”
