EUM operate in the strategic line of didactics and are at the service of the training and educational function of the University. They support a free and democratic didactics, engaging in the promotion of a publishing line of free and freely accessible manuals, innovative in the experimentation of a plurality of languages and communication forms.

EUM also intends to offer its contribution to the learning of soft skills, through the realisation of targeted training courses on publishing, which, thanks to the open badge tool, are open not only to the student community but to the entire citizenry and make the acquisition of tools and skills useful to respond to the challenges of contemporary society a common heritage.
