Turandot based on a libretto by Giuseppe Adami and Rebatio Simoni.

 

"What will happen, though, when the love-struck Calaf reaches her palace? This story was taken from a collection of tales entitled One Thousand and One Nights, inspired by the true story of the warrior princess Khutulun. Giacomo Puccini, the famous Italian composer, turned this story into a famous lyrical opera.

This little book is intended for children in order to help them understand the opera through explaining its story line. The illustrations in the book were done by children, who had fun drawing the scenes and characters.
