Why do we still talk about Filippo Corridoni after a century has passed? We still talk about him because he represents the torment, disappointments and hopes of an Italy that, at the beginning of the 20th century, is becoming a modern country. And as in all processes of rapid change, it faces division, conflict and wounds. His experiences also recall aspects of the modern world. In fact, it is also through Filippo Corridoni's ideas that strong criticism emerged in Italy against political parties, what we now call anti-politics. In this book, scholars from different generations discuss the youth with a “rebellious conscience” that entered the subversive world of that period along with Corridoni in order to evaluate which aspects of that period are still alive.
